WINES FROM THE NICOLUSSI-LECK WINERY,
LAKE CALDARO, SOUTH TYROL

Wine from Lake Caldaro

Here on the warm, sandy loam and porphyry rock of the Monte di Mezzo, our premium grapes thrive at 350 m a.s.l, on steep slopes with a gradient of up to 40%, fanned by the steady Ora breeze from Lake Garda. The diversity of our unique location with its east, south and west-facing slopes allows us to find the best possible conditions for each single variety.

The Vinery

We work year-round on our vineyards, with passion and dedication. Our new wine cellar is integrated into the slopes, covers several floors and has been built to exceptional technical standards, enabling us to produce exceptional natural wines. A constant climate, natural through-draught and shotcrete supporting walls, the force of gravity to assist with the processing of our grapes and the storage of our wines within the 700 year-old walls of the farm, attached to our new cellar, are just a few of the unusual features of the Nicolussi-Leck winery. A glass of fine wine is the product of climate, nature, and our own hard graft.
